Make your own map in 10 easy steps
- First of all you have to register with Google Maps
- At Google Maps go to "My maps" and "Create new map"
- Create a "Title" for your map and a "Description" to help us find it
- You can now make a indiemap with placemarks, lines or draw shapes by choosing from the dashboard on the upper left side
- You can check if your favorite café is listed under "Find business" and add it to your map - you can also write a review or add the café yourself
- Write the adress if you know it - it makes it easier for other vagabonds to find
- Check out your map in "Satellite" view just for fun (Finland I am sorry - but you have not yet reached the Satellite time age!)
- Make your map "Public" so that we can view it too
- Click on "Collaborate" to invite people
- If you want to share your map with others indie travellers please invite me (ylva.rancken-lutz@gmail.com) and I will post your map on Indiemaps.org
